I founded eLagaan to be the kind of accounting and compliance partner I wished existed — one that actually understands startups, moves fast, and picks up the phone at midnight when you need help before a funding round closes. Today, eLagaan serves 100+ startups and is trusted by some of India's most successful founders.
Working with eLagaan clients, I kept seeing the same problem: international companies wanted to hire in India or set up operations, but the process was fragmented, opaque, and painfully slow. So I built SetMyCompany — a full-service platform that handles everything from entity incorporation to ongoing payroll and compliance.
The common thread? I believe India's complexity shouldn't be a barrier to doing business here. Both companies exist to remove that friction — eLagaan for the startup ecosystem, SetMyCompany for the global market.
Why India?
India is where opportunity meets complexity. A 1.4-billion-person market with world-class talent, a thriving tech ecosystem, and a regulatory landscape that can be daunting for outsiders. I've spent my career turning that complexity into a competitive advantage for the companies I work with.
How I Work
I'm a founder, not a consultant. I've built these companies, hired the teams, and put my name on the work. When you work with me, you get a single point of contact who understands your business — not a ticket number. I work with a curated network of legal, tax, and HR professionals, but I'm the person accountable for results.

Started in finance and compliance, working hands-on with startups that were just getting off the ground. Learned early that founders needed more than an accountant — they needed a partner.
Building eLagaan
Founded eLagaan to be the accounting and compliance backbone for ambitious startups. Built it from a one-person operation into a firm trusted by 100+ companies, including the co-founders of Udaan, MoEngage, Nymble, and Exotel.
Going Global
As eLagaan clients expanded internationally (and global companies wanted to enter India), I saw a massive gap — international companies had no simple way to set up and operate in India.
Founding SetMyCompany
Launched SetMyCompany to solve India entry end-to-end: subsidiary setup, EOR, payroll, tax, and compliance. Now serving companies from the US, UK, and Singapore entering the Indian market.
Today
Running two companies from Bangalore. eLagaan powers accounting for India's top startups. SetMyCompany makes India entry effortless for global companies. Same mission, two sides of the same coin.
